I'm curious as to what the more popular ECU's are and with that I'd like to be able to link a code to the options the car came with, MTX/ATX, SPI/ZETEC/SVT/DURATEC 2.0/DURATEC 2.3/PZEV . . .
To find where your ECU code is located please click here (http://www.focusfanatics.com/forum/redirector.php?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.focushacks.com%2F%3Fmodid%3D32%26ht%3DFinding%2520your%2520PCM%2520Code)
So if you could please post your information as such:
Year: 2001
Make: Ford
Model: Focus
Trim: ZX3
Engine: ZETEC
Transmission: MTX-75
ECU Code: ZFY5
Rather than quote this post or you cutting, pasting then deleting, simply cut and paste from the box below:
Year:
Make:
Model:
Trim:
Engine:
Transmission:
ECU Code:
I'm going to try and put all the info into a searchable file on Google docs (like the 100,000 mile club). No data except that listed will be shared and there is no money to be made from this info nor is there any way to mess with your car simply from this information. Piece of mind for you hopefully.
