SCHROEDER02 FTW!!! It's the most modified interior and done really well, the work inside is emaculate for a race inspired focus!

I say cayse. I like the cleanliness of his interior, and its like a DD. not a track car. Dont get me wrong they are all great. But I vote that one

Dude, CaysE's interior is so clean! I don't get how a gutted interior is better looking than a beautifully done interior.

See that's the beauty of this months contest which is really awesome for once. You have Casey with probably the hottest euro themed interior this side of the pond. Shepski also has gone for that look. But then you add in something completely opposite of Casey and Shepski, you add in a racer. Something were the interior work is something of that of a rally car where a ton of items have been removed and a ton of stuff modded to get the job done (racing).

It just depends on what theme you like more but it's good to have a well rounded selection of all different options of member's rides on here.

just saying, i could go outside, gut my car and throw in a racing seat and it be the same. I'm not saying i dont like it but its not that difficult to do. Cayse's is very clean, and looks amazing. I give props to everyone. But i just dont see how a gutted car makes interior ROTM?

I appreciate the vote, but Schroeder has done a lot more than just gut the interior and throw in a racing seat. Not trying to start an argument or anything... :)

I agree CAyse car is NICE. I like it alot, but shroeders interior is more than just "gutted"...and its not that easy. I"ll bet he has 20 hours in removing all the sound deadening in the car...But check the cage, the tank for the water meth injection, the battery cut-off, the sun-roof delete, etc etc.,.. Everything in its place and well done. NOTHING half-assed...

If we all liked the same thing this world would be a very boring place, no?

I like the variety of this month's ROTM. All of them have put a lot of work into their interiors[thumb]

For the guys that don’t really get the gutted interior, maybe this will help understand why it was nominated.

My car has one purpose and that is to drive, and enjoy the experience of driving weather on the street or on a race track. You see all the big safety items but what your may over look are the details that make the car functional such as the accessory gauges have been rotated so that the can be read with just a glance (all of the needles point up). The water methanol power switch is located next to the driver but the LED indicator for when its spraying and the low level indicator are near the dash so it can be seen but also not distract the driver. The seat are set lower in the car for a better driving position, and angled back for leg support.

Some of the work that has gone into the car are removing Radio, AC, sound deadening, sunroof, air bags, and trim panels. I didn’t just install a set of race seat it’s not as simple as one would think. I have modified the brackets several time to get the angle and distance of the seat to be proper for me, the seats also have upper back braces for safety and to stiffen the seat. I designed and made both the sunroof, and airbag delete. The soon roof delete may look like just a sheet of mettle stuck to the roof but it was laid out in CAD, and every hole was drilled and countersunk, the aluminum was all cut and shaped with power hand tools. I also fabricated the plate for mounting the gauges and the battery kill switch. All the wiring was roughed neatly and secured to the body with clips. The battery box is set in the spar tire well so that is low in the car, the box is also seals and vented to the exterior. The 6 Point harness are out mounted though the floor and have backing plates at specified by SCCA, I have also added collars to the harness bar to prevent the shoulder harnesses for spreading apart. , and work with a HANS Device. I couldn’t even begin to tell you how much time has gone in the work I have done

My point being is this it not just as simple gutting of a car and saying it’s neat, everything was done with for a specific reason.

First, let me just say... that video and explanation of the interior KICKS ASS schroeder02!!! I really like that each interior this month is of a different function and purpose... though it does make the voting difficult as each one has it's unique strengths and weaknesses. Also, CaysE, I really hope you don't drive with your seats that far forward... what are you, 4'6"? I kid, I kid ;)

I didn't mean to get you guys riled up. I appologize.

I was looking at this as the "nicest interior". For that I vote Cayse.

However, I do agree that Schroeder has A TON of stuff done to his car. I know I said "its just gutted" but that was a loose fact. I do see the roll cage, tank, sunroof delete, etc. I was voting for the "nicest" But again had it been :most work put into or something of the sort I would vote Schroeder.

I LOVE all the interiors!

I appologize if I started anything or caused someone to be hurt or offended. I was NOT trying to do that.

I protest this poll......there is not a single representative from the '05 and later Focus interiors. What's with all this old stuff? [hah]

HHHHMMMMM!! There all great looking interiors in there own way and each of them tried to make it there own. Thats what makes it difficult. But when a guy (Cayse) sends his wheel out to be covered and pays almost 500US dollars to do so, thats one serious modder. Thats almost 5 grand canadian!! But they all spent alot of money, time, sweat, and the guys with wives or girlfriends, tears!! So I give them all a vote!!
