Hey, i'm finally gonna start buyin parts to set up a custom turbo on my 03 svt. But I have no idea where to start, i wanna get the best parts for my money. Im afraid im gonna get everything i need and go to get it installed and fabricated and i have pieces that dont match up.
I was thinking of starting with the turbo (maybe a garrett or an spa) the wastegat, bov, intercooler, timers and gauges and all that and takin it to a shop to get fitted and fabricated, tubing manifold and all that. what else would i need to insure I have everything. thanks!

Are you set on a custom set up? Seems like more trouble than needed. Hang tight and someone will be here any minute to sell you their kit ....

Do a quick search and youll find some good info. I would esp look at the sticky threads at the top of the FI forum.

http://www.focusfanatics.com/forum/showthread.php?t=180496 He sells a great kit for reasonably priced if you want a kit. That thread also tells what else is needed.

There is so much more to it than just simply i want to piece together a kit. After you get a good foundation set youll probably find that you want to install it yourself and save quite a bit of money. Good luck and welcome to FF.
