Has anyone seen this or tried it? It looks pretty good. and it can have its sensitivity adjusted and it "learns" the sound of your engine. You rev to 3 different rpm levels and push a button.

could be a nice alternative to a j&s. i know it doesnt pull timing like a j&s, but at least it tells you if there is knock that often times you wouldnt be able to hear.

has anyone used it on their fofo? preferrably the duratec?

The biggest problem is with boost by the time it hears it and then human response then it may be to late , the J&S responds faster then you can by a TON and pulls timing to save the engine

hey, this and an electric supercharger ought to make one awesome machine...err wait, nope.
really what good is something that will tell you theres knock? one of those "thanks for telling me about something I can't do anything about" deals, and there goes 109 on something not too useful unless you like light shows (kinda like a narrow band a/f). better to save the money on something that will actually help you and your car rather than something that would become an annoyance or cause un needed worry.

if you have knock you can adjust the tune for it. a lot of knock cant be heard, especially at high boost levels.

and yeah ill probably get a j&s later on because it retards the timing for you. just think this is pretty neat and can save people some money.

It wont save any one any money if there engine blows , Not all spk knock is audible to the ear inside the car most isnt ,Does this mean this unit will not work to let you know there is knock , dont know , Is it a safe way to make your engine safe NO
