Well, when my 02 Sable Platinum Edition died and it was time to trade in, I wasn't looking forward to the focus. Since that was pretty much what was in my price range.

So I started modding away on it. Nothing big, pretty cheap stuff.
Tinted tails & side markers, took off the pin stripes, blacked out interior and about to do the home depot lip.
I think I am falling in love. The car really feels like mine.

I can't wait to tint the windows and do a CAI.

Ha ha, I'd like to say "one day", but probably not.

Though some performance mods are on the list.

At this point I would really like faster acceleration.

put some suspension on there. Thats what the focus is for.

dog bone, cai, tune (especially if your auto) will wake up your car some.

Yes, it is AX. Tune up will help that a little huh?

I will have to look into that.

Huh, then the Wifey will want one, lol.

yeah..do some suspension mods. thats what these cars are for. take it from a fellow ATX owner...the basic boltons wont cure the "faster car" need. do some suspension work and the car will handle like its on rails.

Huh, then the Wifey will want one, lol. He meant a tune of the computers fuel, ingnition and shift point maps. Not a tune up like you're thinking which is plugs and wires.

No, just get Tom (1turbofocus) to remote tune your car. its around $400, free updates, increases shift firmness, optimizes fuel and timing curves/maps, and you should get better mpgs if you can stay outta the throttle (hard, I know.)

Congrats on the buy, now you're OWNED by your Fofo LOL.
Have ATX too, no major mod's but it rides like on rails, go for Tom's tune, like BigRed wrote, I'm looking into that too.
Happy modding and keep us posted.
