I know they really didn't change the focus too much structurally between the 70 and 08 years. It was a lot of cosmetic changes.....

Here is my hypothetical. Will the '008+ dash and center console fit in a pre '08?

Just as I have done a front end swap between my'02 SVT and an '05 sedan, the parts were different, but still bolted right up......

center console 100% no. im about 70% no on the dash as well but i havent seen the dash in the older cars in a bit.

no not with out major modification.. you would have to get a new dash and all...

even if it does fit right out of the box
I think it won't look right.
It'll be out of place unless you do the rest of the interior like the door panels and stuff

I say go for it and do the necessary modifications to make it fit. Tons of people do this on F-bodies... they'll put a complete fourth gen interior into a third gen, dash and all.

If I were to do it, I world do the entire interior. I know the door panels would have to be modified a lot in order to fit, but I was just thinking of the dash. Even if things didn't line up aesthetically, would it bolt in? I'm pretty sure the firewall is the same....

I don't think anybody has tried as far as I can recall. Not anyone who's posted about it, anyway.
