I have been shopping for a short throw shifter for a while and got to feel a few out at Focus Fest just recently. I liked the Steeda shifter the best but notticed it might not work with the Saleen knob because of the shape and length.

Will the Saleen knob work with a Steeda shifter? Anyone use the CFM shifter?

I guess I'll have to buy blind and let everyone know how it all works!

The saleen knob has the same thread as the stock shift knob. The Steeda short-shift has the same thread and the stock shifter, so yes. It'll work.

Make sure and check the bottom of your stock knob for the slotted part for a wrench...makes taking it off a whole lot easier. You might also need another zip-tie (bottom side) for the boot itself to make it nice and snug against the new shift knob.
