So I think I am having throttle body problems. I bought an on board computer and one of the features is that it gives the throttle body position in form of a percentage.
However, when I put my pedal all the way down to the floor, it only registers at 88%.
I plugged it in to my friend's Focus (same year/model) and it registered at 100%.
Is there some kind of adjustment that can be made or is it in the tune?

There is a mod in the how-to section that describes how to allow your TB to be opened up a little bit... does it feel like your buddys car is 12% faster?? maybe if both of you do the mod then you can compare the TB's when you work on them.

You may want to check your throtlle positioning sensor. I was told mine may be going bad or is bad?

Just because your TPS sensor doesnt read 100% doesnt mean its not opening 100%.... check it the old fashion way.... have someone hold the pedal all the way down while you physically check the TB from under the hood to see if it will open more.
