i have seen it done both ways. The guy at steeda (the guy tuning my car) seems to think that i will only see about a 30 degree difference if i put the wmi at the throttle body and i will see 100 degree difference if i put the nozzle in the intake mani
looking for opinions/ experiences since it will be a HUGE pain in the a$$ to locate it in the intake mani since the blower has already been installed.

After, if its before then the blower will just warm up what you just cooled down.

First I wouldnt let the guys at steeda tune my lawn mower , They dont seem to have a clue what there doing with the Focus
What it comes down to is , Is your blower (strips on the blower) safe to have Alc. going through ??
Warning DO NOT let them tune your car with the WM on , thay have enough tuning issues with out it and it makes the engine a lot LESS safe if tuned with WM
Tune it , then use the WM

also no matter where you mount it it must be after the maf sensor.

okay lets see if i can respond to each comment...
focus guy, the wmi would be sprayed right before the blower, so wouldnt the wmi basically prevent the air from being heated versus cooling after it has been warmed up.?
tom.... i want to make sure we are talking about the same steeda guys.... because i live in canada. Also i have seen various guys spray before the blower without reliability issues. The issue is whether there is a significant difference in the effectiveness of the wmi based on its location pre or post blower.

Yes I saw where you were out of , be carefull, Some blowers dont like liquids going through them of any kind , you need to check with who made your blower and see , the strips on the blower on some dont like the abrasive Alc and will hurt them

well thanks for the advice tom I will definitely keep that in mind.
now assuming that it is safe to inject pre blower, is there a significant difference in the cooling ability of the wmi system based on whether the nozzle is located before or after the blower?
i have heard that injecting pre blower will see a difference of only about 30 degrees where as post blower injection will cool more like 100 degrees (not hard numbers, just for comparisons sake). Is there any truth to this?
the persons arguement is that the wmi mixture atomizes better under the hot compressed air. I think it may have more to do with the wmi mixture cooling the air in the intake mani (when injected in the intake mani) versus if it is being sprayed into the blower, the actual aluminum of the blower itself may act as a sink for some of that cooling ability, but then the blower itself would be cooler so that may decrease how much the air is heated.
(i have a feeling i am making this way more complex then it needs to be lol)

The heat comes from compressing the air and the strips against the housing where the air is compressed , If I had to choose I would do it after the blower
Again I would have this on when tuning , use it after you have a good safe tune , The first way I judge a good tuner is , If he does a full pull on the first pass get you car out of there

I have some of the same questions. Ive been thinking about WMI and think that post blower spray would be the best. I have the M62 Blower aka Powerworks and where would be the best spot to do a post blower install? I saw someone on a post on snowperformance does this look like a good area to put the spray nozzles?
