I got my crankcase block off from jay racing and i put it on today and it says its 1/2" pipe thread but i cannot get any of my 1/2" pt fittings to thread in. What have you all used that works?

If they wont start with a 1/2 fitting they may not have tapped it far enough , just get a tap and run it in a little further till your fitting will start and screw it

I tried but the tap hits the baffle in the back because of how my tap is tapered. But i might go out tomorrow morning and see if i can get one thats not tapered. Ive never seen one like that though. But its deffinately 1/2" pt?

you can cut the tap so it doesnt hit the block off ive done it before

No it would be 1/2 NPT

yea i meant npt and i think he was talking about cutting the actual tap not the baffle. So the heavily tapered end wont go straight through and hit the baffle.
