Would a drop in spark plug heat range be nesecarry with zetec ? I'll be running 12lbs of boost, I wasn't sure and figured it be a good idea just to check, also while i'm at it how are the stock fuel pumps?? Will a walboro be needed for my project? Thanks fellas

from what i know you want to go one heat range lower with doing a turbo or supercharger kit with that kind of boost. but i do see some guys that go two steps colder. i don't know why two steps though you will have to have somone with more knowledge tell you why. you should be ok with the stock pump at 12 lbs. i only hear about people using warboro pumps on big power.

The rule of thumb is for every 50HP increase you need to go 1 step colder.

At least thats what I have been told, maybe we can get a real expert in here...

Yo dont have a lot of choises with the Zetec , the azfs22c/463 is 1 step and about our only option

Awesome, that solves one question. Any definat iput on the fuel pump? As I recall I THINK walboro only makes a pump for return stlye applications but i can't be certain so IF i bigger pump is needed idk what to use really

I would use your stock pump , have your tuner make the changes in the tune to up the fuel psi and watch it closely
