not much of it, if any will fit on the SVT motor they are 2 very different motors after SVT gets done handling the Zetec motor for the svtf

i don't think that any substancial parts will swap..whats the point anyways?

If you have a ZX3 you can bolt-on parts and beat an SVT pretty handedly.
If you have an SVT why would you want ZX3 parts?
Can you clarify your purpose?

i guess a Zetec header and highflow cat or a 4-2-1 header would fit but why would u want to?

bc i have a ztech motor right now and it is seized up bc i got water in it. i was hoping that they do bc if the dealer only wants me to take it to the dealer i wil have the dealer put in the svt bc it is the same price. i have some mods on my motor and i just didnt want to start over.(by the way the dealer said that the svt motor was still a 2.0 zetech motor so what is so diff. about it?)

If your dealer will install a SVT motor in place of the standard Zetec for no more coin out of your pocket....go for it.

The SVT motor is tuned a little more highly....it has a different intake...it uses variable valve timing, significantly different computer program. Other than being based on the same block, there are a lot of differences besides the fact that 130hp for the Zetec and 170hp for the SVT.

If they did do it then you would have to get the svt ecu put in your car also. That will run you a little more. But if you have any zetec parts that you want to swap, I think only an exhaust set up would fit. But I believe the SVT comes with the 4-2-1 header already.

Chances are many of your parts wouldn't work....but if the dealership was willing to put in the SVT motor (which also requires the 6-speed transmission, new computer, etc) you'd be way ahead. Sell your parts and make a profit.

I'd be very surprised if the dealership was willing to swap in a new SVT engine tranny and computer plus the labor.....as warranty for a standard Zetec. If they do, it's the deal of the century.

i have to get the tranny too? cuz i do know that the way i had my car i would demolish a stock svt and i really dont want to down grade.

You cannot install the SVT engine, at all. The dealer will not either.

Everything is different.

Yea dude, you didn't know that you had to install a new tranny too?? The svt comes with a six speed, not to mention that the zetec tranny's bolt pattern doesnt fit the svt block.

Anything can be done, with enough time, effort and money. Perhaps you've seen pics of V6 and V8 motors stuffed into the Focus?

Nothing but the standard Zetec motor is going to fit in without some customizing, some fabricating, and a ton of effort. This means your dealer isn't going to do anything but the stock motor.....I'm quite sure.
