im looking to turbo my svt
id like to make a little over 300 whp
im also trying to do it for not to much $$
since im building other things at the same time
i figured id get a rebuilt from the factory turbo
and theres no reason i need a new manifold, bov, wastegate, intercooler
i can find a used ones in good condition for much less than ones
anyway im probably goin to try to run 17-19 psi
will my motor handle that reliably?

any suggestions or tips or anything would be great

My tip is read the FI sticky at the top of the FI thread. Will answer most of your questions...

well 17-18 psi i think is to much i think max would be like 13-14 but its gonna take some dollers to get your svt turbo i would know now [?|] but just check the fi threads theres a ton of info up there and good luck with it

its going to cost more than you think. tunning and tunning components for a fungus is expensive

You will need at least 4000 to 5000 to do it right

^^^Amen. Your car will be only as strong as your weakest link. Your weakest link being were you try to save money in cheap parts on high boost. Do it right the first time, check the threads and get your bank account ready. Good luck!!!

Or.....sell the thing and buy a faster car that already has a turbo. Or better still....get that "going faster" thing out of your head entirely. That's the cheapest option.
