Obviously a new ECU is needed what else would be needed? Would my transmission from my 07 sedan need to be replaced as well? Let me know! Thanks HyBalz 06-15-2009, 09:21 PM The 3L is a V6 = Lots of work. 07FocusST 06-15-2009, 11:17 PM pretty much everything will need to be changed: All Wiring Harnesses Trans Engine (obviously) Spindles Half Shafts etc.... you get the idea focusmaniaczx3 06-16-2009, 02:59 AM lots of fabrication involved including but not limited to: motor mounts, k-member, headers, throttle cable, coolant lines, fuel lines, brake lines, and plus what 07focusST said. its harder to do a v6 swap than it is to do a V8 swap. how possible is it? very possible with enough money and time behind it. hope you have alot of both would your tranny need to be swapped as well? yes very few people have actually started to do this swap with the full intention of completely finishing it. unfortunately far far fewer have actually completed the task. if you are dead set on this i wish you good luck and GodSpeed! take lots of pictures! | |
