You only need a MAFia or some kind of MAF extender if you are pegging or close to pegging out your MAF.. Since your making some ponies.. I take it you have some kind of engine management like the SCT PRP.. If so you can datalog your MAF AD Counts during a WOT pull and see if they get anywhere near 980-1000 counts.. if so.. It would be wise to get one.. and then you will need to retune your car.

You for sure need a MAFia , should of had one long ago

ya i have the diablo sport tuning not sure if its great but thats what i have. thanks tom ill make sure i will buy one. i had a problem with the motor. so now i have to get the tunin g redone. and ill make sure that i get this added. what setting should the mafia be set at. becuase i know there are different settings. the car should but 280 or above down this time around

^^In most cases from what I've seen, setting 3 works well. And yeah, the zetec MAF pegs at 1023 counts (IIRC) so if you're anywhere near there you definitely need one. I was pegging mine at 200-225whp.
