Alright i have A TON of plans for the fofo. Just like most of you do. Ive borken it down into 2 sections mainly. Engine and Looks.

Looks:
Get Lip Kit painted and installed, ~250$
Buy Trunk ~50 i hope?
Attach spoiler and paint trunk ~300
Tint Windows ~170
Paint Rims ~40

Engine
Cams ~250
SVT Intake~ 100 (not sure price on that)
Cam Gears~ 200
Zex wet kit~ 400
Wires~ 45

Now my license in jepordy at the moment and will be for about a year.
Which path should i go down? Should i mod the looks of my car, that way it will keep me out of speeding tickets?
Or should i mod the engine so i dont attract the Popo's with a sexy red car?

i just dunno what to do![?|]

i'd go with the tints first. i am anxiuos to get mine done (red sedan), i think the black/red contrast will really make it look sharp without attractiong too much attention.

It's 'tint'...not 'tints'.

Tinted windows do look very nice, I'll give you that. Changed the look of my car completely. Just don't go too dark- or you'll be getting pulled over again.

Honestly, you should probably just focus (no pun intended) on your license situation first and foremost! Worry about the things you WANT to do later- worry about the things you HAVE to do NOW!

Besides that, as long as you are financially prepared to do whatever- then by all means, do whatever makes you the most happy!

I respect your decision for asking others, but it ultimately comes down to you. What do YOU want? Set your own goals, then go after them!

Good luck, my friend.

Yeah, but on the other hand- it's a Focus. I mean come on. Just drive it? Pay your dues to the man, and be a sheep- just like everyone else....it's fun!

Seriously- do whatever you want man. It's YOUR CAR!

How about buying a nice tow hitch and connecting it up to something heavy. That should keep you from speeding ;)

I agree with mlb, interior stuff sounds safest. Too many stories on here of people getting tickets for dark tints.

my rear 5 windows tinted at 15% = $180. Everywhere I've called, the front 2, regardless if it's a Yukon or a Geo, it's $70.
I would get the SVT airbox... maybe when gas is at $4 it'll help mileage?? with a gentle foot of course

Tint, then suspension mods.

I have nitrous, and therefore would love to say get nitrous, but if you have problems keeping it under control then nitrous is NOT for you.

Modding my suspension is probably just as fun. It makes the car almost as fun to drive as the juice. For you, I think this would be best. It makes the car tons of fun, but doesnt make you want to race it any more than right now.

You do know you cant just bolt it on and go, right? You are going to have to buy a nitrous window switch to activate the intake at the right rpm.
