the hardest part will be the electrical and swapping ECUs. not really much advice i can give. its a motor swap, pretty strait forward. do all the wiring first before you try to put in the motor/tranny, so that you have more room to move around. try to get the motor and tranny in all at once as 1 peice.

Make sure you work on your patience, because the wiring harness will be a rough one.

so then my idea of dropping in the motor and tranny as one then doing wires later won't be a good idea... see i have access to a shop where i rent a stal by the day (or for a lift.. the hour) and they have all tools known to man (cept maybe a lawnmower) i'm hoping to make the removal of my motor painless more or less, but the install of the other one.. yeah.. i know there will be some time in that. but i'm thinking the over all outcome will be worth it.
real quick.. the motor mounts for the duratec 2.3 do fit up with the 2002 focus right.. the car side is the same just not the engine side when it comes to the spi-d23 mounts correct
