ok so first off correct me if i'm wrong but the zetec auto trans mounts up with the spi auto trans correct (i understand the manuals do not though).

now.. i happen to be able to get a zetec motor minus alternator and AC pump, as well ecm...

will my current spi alternator, ac pump, and ecm (ok the ecm maybe not) work with the zetec engine. my spi is heading towards full shutdown. it has engine knock that just started out of no where so this is my oppurtunity to swap it out. and zetec is the easiest (and cheapest)

they trans will be fine your ecm however will not be

ditto. the trans will mate up just fine. the ECM definately will not work so you will need a new one. the alternator and a/c pump will not work. you could fabricate mounts for the alternator and get a custom length serpentine belt and make it work but that would be alot more trouble than its worth.
