Is it possible to put a mustang cobra engine in a svt focus? what all exactly would be needed to do the swap and price range?

it can be done and has been done but it isnt cheap. you would be looking at $15000 easily

I don't think there is any way for a modular ford engine to fit a focus. It is bigger than a 429 dimensionally.

Well.... you're wrong.

The KugalKomponts kit was designed to run both old school and Mod motors.

The first one was the RS8 by Ford Racing... 5.0 cammer in a RS body... I've seen 03+ Cobra motors in them as well as some older V8's

Here's a couple of shot of my engine bay with the 408 stroker in it to give you an idea of how much room there really is.....

Everything you need comes in a kit... almost a direct bolt in.

i remember the rs8, motortrend ran it against the Gallardo and it out did it in most tests, and i believe it was within a tenth or so of it in the quarter.

Crazy.

How does it handle if done correctly? Is there AC, stuff like that?

Air ride?
I'm thinking that thing better be strapped down good, brake master is damn close to that VC.
(yes I weaseled my way in to your bucket, i had to see more)

Hello,

There is actually more room at the master cylinder that it looks and I can lower the motor down slightly if I need to. It has air ride, front suspension from a Cobra with air struts which is why I modified the strut towers.

The car is in for paint right now, it is a dark gunmetal with slightly lighter stripes, it is looking pretty good!

The bucket is public but the pictures are pretty crappy, I am pretty good at melting metal but suck at taking pictures!
