ok so ive decided to get me some clear corners and a clear grill form ebay. For the corners i would prefer smoked or black but i dont want to have to worry about if it is DOT approved ( i want it to be DOT approved.

So what im asking is if yall have any suggestions on sellers who you would recommend and which ones to avoid.
I would appreciate your input, as i trust yalls ebay experience more than mine (i have never bought from ebay)

I have just the side markers for you. I bought these and I'm 99% sure they are DOT approved. Plus they look damn good. This guy makes em and ships them really fast. Once you get them just head to your local Walmart and pick up some amber bulbs to put in them.

The fitment was great. I have had zero problems with them so far.

awesome may look into them since they look good on yours and you had no prob wiht the seller...that is my main concern.

they should come with bulbs. Mine did. The fitment of aftermarket clears is great. Makes a HUGE difference in appearance to the front end of the ride.

The ones in the link are the same style I used to have on ol' Blue (http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b300/ac21365/Temp/ff33db2c.jpg) back in the day, except smoked.


The DMV is likely only going to be looking for one thing: Amber visible from the side. My clear corners (from ebay, no less) actually CAME with little 1"x1" amber reflectors with adhesive sticky on the back just to satisfy that law. Not sure if the ones linked earlier in the thread do, but if not, it's a buckfiddy part from Lowes.


If all else fails and you get a fix it ticket, just put the stockers back on.

yeah its my conundrum clears or smoked...smoked would match the tail lights but it would be hard to get the right shade of smoke..

IMO since it's a lighter colored car the smoked would look better.
