It's not the Texas heat that gets ya ... its that stinking Texas Humidity.
Well ... good luck in getting the car running.
05-22-2009, 11:26 AM
well.......does it work?!?!
05-22-2009, 04:03 PM
well it started and it drives.
but the damn p0135 code is still there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
im over that, it shouldnt affect anything, performance wise, as its just more for state inspections
but still its the CEL on and its annoying
05-22-2009, 05:36 PM
If memory serves me right the P0135 code is your second O2 sensor ... either replace it or if you have something down there that makes the code ... get the 02 cheater.
05-22-2009, 05:50 PM
nope its the front.
p0141 is rear.
i have toms tune,
rear one is turned off.
the tech said its jsut the heated part.
but it still functions on the a/f side of it.
p0135, bank 1 sensor 1 (upstream)
05-22-2009, 05:51 PM
and its a brand new FORD OEM.
so its either wiring, fuse issues, or computer issues :(
05-22-2009, 08:51 PM
have you cleared the code? you know it wont go off unless you clear it...
05-22-2009, 09:11 PM
it wont go off, he cleared it!
the battery was out when the swap went on so the code had already been cleared.
05-22-2009, 10:07 PM
odd.. didn't bump the o2 with putting everything together did he?
05-22-2009, 10:22 PM
Man that sucks!! I am glad to see you have it running now even if it still is throwing a code.
05-23-2009, 09:12 AM
no he put it in last i made sure of that.
yeah ive replaced it like 3 times and it messes up.
its eait a harness problem, fuse problem or the computer
05-23-2009, 10:21 AM
you had tom program the rear o2 out right... i would have thought that would have salved any thing involving the rear o2.. might want to ask him about it...
05-23-2009, 11:07 AM
ITS NOT THE REAR ONE!!!!
how many times do i have to say that
the rear one is turned offfffff
05-23-2009, 12:51 PM
