I have tons of experience tuning hondas but i'm a total noobie to the ford world. As I research it seems open source tuning isn't possible with the focus ecus, correct? Whats the most widely used tuner for our cars? Thanks

SCT Tuners are the most popular for non-SVT... much better than Predators, IMHO

the SCT pro-racer package is the way to go.
Start reading. lol. theres a TON of information on here, just keep seraching.
most importanly we are maf-only.
second most importantly we have a returnless fuel system so fuel pressure is controlled by the computer. no need to do the age-old fuel pressure increase to help afr's, EVERYTHING in the ecu is controllable to what you want, so you can do the RIGHT way of doing things. Just get your MAF modeling correct and the rest is taken care of for you (but of course you have to set up your tables and datalog and such).

Or I can tune your Focus with my remote tuning 450.00 if you have a flasher or I can sell you the SCT Pro Racer , You will find it much easier to let me tune it remote
