is there anyway to up the compression on the svt engine?
besaide the normal zx3 head gasket and head milling?

high compression pistons possibly?

Thats the two ways that i know of. The pistons are so close now, and i dont know of any that are higher domed than the stock ones for these engines. You dont want to make it "much" higher than it is now. 11:1 is as high as you would probably want to go on pump gas. These engines arent that efficient, thats the reason you wouldnt want to move the compression appx. .8 of a point.

I didn't know that.

With the gas we have now I wouldnt go over 10.2 , the higher you go the more timing you take out and you end up with a high compression engine with little to no timing that does not make more HP
