I have a 2001 zx3. When going over bumps it’s making a “rattling” sound from the front end. It sounds like something is loose so I was thinking bushings maybe? Still new to this car so still I’m still figuring out its quirks.
Thanks

mIGHT BE THE SUSPENSION. I HEARD THAT ON MINE WHEN I LOWERED IT AND AFTER I CHANGED OUT THE WHOLE SUSPENSION I FOUND OUT MY FRONT STRUT WAS SHOT.

I was thinking it could be the strut but I had it in for service less than a month ago and they said everything was fine with the struts...I don't know, could a sturt go out that quick?? It's not like im killing the car or anything.

Run a search on "endlinks" here on the forum. Should give you plenty of info.

Rattling sound from the front end is kind of vague. Could be a multitude of problems, end links, strut can give out even if someone says they are fine. They were fine at the moment they were checked but who is to say that 1 month down the road they aren't good anymore? lol Hell I even had a similar situation with my old Escort GT that gave me a rattling from the front end that eventually turned into a loud thumping. Turned out it was my axle had loosened up and just kept hitting the firewall. Or if you have recently had work done to your suspension it might be the assembly isn't seated properly and it's just moving around a bit. Bushings usually give you a bit of wiggle while your driving but have been known to make a rattling as well. Tie-rods might be going bad...hard to say unless you be more specific. We can all make speculations but without details it makes it difficult to diagnose.
