I installed my new spec stage 2+ clutch a week ago.
I have about 600km on it now.
And I seem to have a problem with the engagement point when pulling away from a stop.
Basically when I am trying to pull away, I am in 1st gear and about 1 out of 3 times, my clutch engages when i barely let go of the pedal, then the other times it engages just before i let the pedal go completely.
I have no noticeable slipping or any other problems.
Anyone know what it could be or if this is normal??

sounds to me like its not your clutch that is the problem, maybe the slave or master cylinder.

im not to sure but have you checked your fluids lately?

when you did your clutch did you bleed it real good. they are a pain alot of times and you may have air in the lines still.

Yeah I was thinking about that too, gonna bleed them again 2morow. Is it hard on the clutch or anything else if I drive it now?

just in case the problem is not the bleeding ( hope it is), email Jason at spec, he will tell you what to do, if the clutch is the damaged thing, then you will only pay the shipping to them
