you should be able to run the TB and CAI without a problem. and see a noticable differnance. of course this differance will be imporved even more by an improved exhaust, but just running just TB and CAI shouldnt hurt you.

one more very important thought!!!
Make sure you install a bypass valve on your CAI unless you want to get water in your engine.

i have heard that. do some include a bypass, or is it a seperate piece. if seperate where do i pick one up? any preference on cai?

i honestly have not looked into the differances between the CAIs, so i can't give you much advice there. but they all pretty much work on the same premises. are you going with the 60mm TB? if that is the case, then browse through the zetec chat and look at the CAIs they have avaliable because that will probably give you more information then i can.

Usually bypass valves are not included in the CAI, so you will have to add that in yourself. i know you can buy them online, probably from the same place you get your CAI. if you cant find one, let me know. i have seen them around, but cant remember where off the top of my head.
