im new with small little 4-cylinders and i had to replace my air filter... and i dont have enough money to buy a CAI... well my friend said lets put a cone filter on there and a hood scoop... well we put the cone filter on there but i said no for the hood scoop... is the hood scoop neccessary.. he says with the hood scoop cold air would flow in , in short making a Jiimy rigged CAI... does this do anything at all to my car?

do the cone not the scoop. it sounds like your friend wants to play with your car and money.

where would be the best and cheapest place to find body kits? i found grounddynamics.com is that a good site or is there cheaper out there?

check out the gallery images and see if you find a kit you like first then find the best place to buy it. thats what i would do.

It's probably not worth it in terms of gains, but it could be a fun project.

As far as the kit, I agree with norcal...find the kit first, post a pic and ask for reviews and best options to buy.

make sure its a good quality filter, don't skimp out on a cheap ebay one. Check out wings west, they have alot of different focus kits.

you should save the money you would use for a kit and buy things to make your car have some go
