I screwed up the differential in my MTX 75 tranny. I have found another one cheap and was wandering if I need to take the whole transmission(bellhousing and transmission) from the engine or if I can just leave the bell housing attached and just unbolt the tranny from that. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

i don't know much about them but it seems and if i remmeber right you have to drop the whole thing

drop the whole thing, not like an older muscle car where the trans is one piece and the bellhousing is another-- and in fact your going to have to drop the whole package motor and transmission to get it out- it wont flex enough to allow it to slide off without hitting the framerail- be sure to unhook everything and double check and triple check it out

With the fans out of the way, along with the rest of the front of the car it looks like the tranny would slide out the front. Am I mistaking when I say that, or is it still easier to pull both engine and tranny?
