CLICK HERE (http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/search/?N=1616+10332+4294965141+9190) Other than the ~$500 Magnaflow, the other cats are under $300. No where near $2,000.

Or for a cheater, typically people use spark plug anti-foulers threaded into the bung, then the o2 sensor into that. However, if it's the rear o2 sensor, that shouldn't cause the car to run any different and in that case don't worry to much about it. The front o2 sensor is where the computer takes readings for fuel trim. The rear only tells the computer if the cat is working or not.

Good Luck

idk exactly what is wrong with his car ill ask tonight ... its got a wierd setup where the o2 sensors and the cat are in the manifold and the whole manifold needs to be replaced ... hence the 2g pricetag
