[bigcry] any one know were the fuel pump driver module is? cuz the code says it's disabled or offline. and i can't find it in the haynes book, and have no idea were it is or what it looks like. i wonder if the tune shut it off?[?|]

use the search function for that code. it's likely that someone else has had the same problem and already has a solution...

Is the car running normally?

What device was used to flash the car and read codes?

i got an x3 with a custom tune. brenspeed said it's my car. i set it back to stock and it still won't start. i didn't have this problem before the tune. on a mustang forum it said a bad fpdm, bad fuel cutoff switch, bad ecm, or bad wiring can cause this code. i found and bought a fpdm on ebay. i guess i'll just start replacing stuff till it's better, that's how i roll!!!

Yes, if the code and problem are still there when returned to stock then most likely it is a physical problem with your vehicle.

Before you go buying parts....check the fuel cut-off switch on the passenger floor/right side. Push the button in. Then get out your owners manual and check all the fuses, particularly the fuel pump fuse.

It's had to believe the new program caused a physical failure of a part, when you did nothing else. Perhaps you need to have the computer/keys reprogrammed. Strange issue.....

the fuel pump fuse is #12 on the firewall. i pulled it to load the tune like the instructions say to do, and replaced it, it's good. i checked the cut off first, i pushed it and pushed it. but it could be bad too. i'm going to replace soon as i get the $$$. if the problem in sues, i got a fuel pump driver module on the way, $30 from ebay[headbang] if that don't fix it it has to be my ecm right! there's some logic in my maddness[thumb]

i just found this nugget when i did a search, it's a quote from last fall.

The car is running again, after throughout electrical testing including fuse, relay, fuel pump shut off switch, the trouble was a bad fuel pump relay. Switched the relay with the high beams good relay and it starts right up! So if anyone is getting a p1233 code sometime, check that relay! That's probably why my car was randomly having bad starts and idle sometimes until it got warmer, maybe the relay wasn't clicking immediately with the ignition on.

i'm going to check my relay tomarrow!!!!!![werd]
