Hey all. I was hoping we could get a GTG going. I was just looking at my calendar, and I think that we should do this on JUNE 6st (first saturday in June). I know this seems like a long time away, but if we dont start planning now, it will never happen. First things first, if this doesnt work for anyone, suggest a new date (preferably weekends) and a city that would make the drive no more than a few hours for anyone wanting to go. My suggestion is Helena. We could all get some sweet pics near the capitol, and i know there is a few parks where we could all go and cook burgers or something like that. If you want to go, make sure I put you on the list. I hope we can get at least 6-8 people. Give me suggestions suggestions!!!

if we don't have a race that weekend i'm definitely down for it, if it's a helena race then I'll definitely be there. but it might be brought up to do it the weekend of the Top Gun / SCCA divisionals like we we're thinking last year. either way, I'll actually have weekends off this summer so i'm up for anything w/in 6hrs of great falls.

A BBQ & a few beers in helena would be pretty cool, maybe even a local autocross. you'll love what the focus is capable of on track. maybe WD40 could suggest some good pic. spots or twisty cruises, like the canyon..lol.

If youre willing to drive to butte, you might as well continue to Helena. Its only like another hour. Butte sucks (trust me, i lived there for 18 years), but if everybody else wants to, I wont object to moving it to my home town [:D] I know some good photo spots around there, and i wont have to drive

So, can I get a running list of people who know they can attend? I know I can. Can anyone else commit? Also, whats everybody think, butte or helena?

I can give a 90% probability of making it on the 6th, and I'd tend toward Helena, but I've never been to Butte so I wouldn't mind giving that a shot too.

Bad news gang, I just talked to my mother, and im going to Florida that weekend for my cousin's graduation. I can do this any other weekend but the 6th, so can i get some suggestions for new dates?

I'm pretty flexible as long as ya all give me enough notice, like a couple weeks[thumb]
we did a Yellowstone G2G a couple years back and it was a blast!

^^I think that was mentioned in the "how far you're willing to travel" or whatever thread, I'd definitly be up for that.
