Hi guys, my wife and i just bought a 09 sedan, SE. It pretty much handles like crap. So we were thinking about getting her a set of lowering srpings, leaning towards eibach sport lines (1.6" drop). My biggest concern is are we going to need to purchase camber kits for either the front or rear? I know some cars you can get away with not having them, but i cant seem to find out if this is one of those cars
Ive got a bit of experience doing bolt on mods to previous cars, though ive never done any suspension work. Think i should tackle this myself?
Thanks for the help [thumb]

Well if you are going to do the springs be sure to get some shocks that can handle that drop. The stock ones will wear out quickly going that low.
And the suspension on the Focus is fairly easy to do. Just set aside a day or so and take your time.
And you should only need a camber kit for the rear. The fronts are fine to lower but the rears will likely need a set of camber bolts to keep it within spec.

You need the rear camber kit for the sportline kit. You will only need the front camber kit if you get coilovers or anything around a 2 in drop. I don't know how well th new 09 shocks will handle the springs.

Think it would be more worth it to stay with the pro kit? i dont mind changing the shocks in the future, but im not looking at doing that just yet.

The 1.6 drop will be the best way to go. Get the sportline. You can buy shocks in the future.
