I have a automatic 2000 ford focus that had a sohc engine in it. It blew a rod and i was wondering if anybody knew exactly if the sohc and dohc focuses have the same automatic transmission. Like if i get a dohc motor from a focus that was a manual dohc engine will it bolt right up to my sohc focus transmission. Or if i get a engine that was from a dohc focus will it bolt up to my sohc focus transmission.
