.....Okay that past 2 weeks have been living hell for me and my car. Starts off with bad o2 sensor, bad accessory belt and belt tensioner, battery cables are corroded through, and to top it all off my stage 3 clutch masters clutch with less than 10k miles on it is done for from a bad slave. i have a son due on Sunday, and this is not something i need, i can only love a car so much. But all the sweat, blood, and money i have thrown into this car to keep it running is just not worth it anymore. after everything is fixed the car is gone, i dont know what i can get because of the bad timing of all this but needless to say i will never buy another ford again, unless its a cobra (2003 or 2004). i want to thank evryone that has offered advice from little things to big things u guys are the best, ill still roam around on here every now and then. so untill then....
Peace,
Phil

Sorry to hear about your problems and such bad timing. Don't let a bad experience sway you away from the brand, their new line up is spectacular. Let us know what you replace it with! Good luck with the kid to [thumb]

alright after a long awaited 2 months my clutch is gettin shipped back from cali, clutchmasters said the slave went but however sumthing got in between the friction disc and pressure plate. so they are replacing those 2 things and throwing in a new lightweight flywheel for free, and a new slave. so im going to be basically having a new clutch masters stage 3 clutch so looks like i might end up keeping the car, not having it the past 2 months have shown me how much i am still in love with this car so hopefully all goes well from here on out. so im back officially again.... lol

higher-torque pp's will wear out your slave cylinder quicker since that much more pressure is pressing on the seals & o-rings inside of it as well.
I had the pivot-bolt on my old mazda shear complete off inside my transmission TWICE with my ACT clutch. I'll never get an ACT again after that...all they are are OEM clutch discs with ridiculous-torque pp's that are 5 times firmer.

well the clutch had just under 10,000 miles and what luis from clutchmasters said was that since there was sumthing keeping the disc lining up teh slave tried to compansate and it blew so yea sucky slave cylinders major downfall with ford
