I've got Tom's tune and initially it looked like nothing has changed except the missing hanging revs which was one of the main reasons I did the tune so I would have been happy only with that.
About a month later I started noticing that the car ran much smoother (no surging, very smooth engine braking in first gear when lifting off the throttle which is great in slow moving traffic, compared to a big jerk before.
So it seems that after the ECU learned its parameters there is a difference. Also, when running the AC it doesn't bog down in first gear anymore.
I would say it worth it.

a tune will make your car stopp sucking balls when you take off from a stop, it will make yuor car into a fierce tiger, from the old lap cat it currently is. Thats how I feel, I cant reccomend a tune enough to people, it is the FIRST thing to do to an svtf.

Well here's a list of whats done already:
CFM 67mm throttle body
CFM ORP
CFM billet dsi clip
Magnaflow custom exhaust
AEM CAI
Unorthodoxracing UDP
Taylor 8.8 Thundervolt wires

Car runs very well like it is.....just was wondering the major difference
I have had problems when the a/c running and you pull up to a light and it just cuts off, but it alway starts back..??

Definitely...By far the best mod you can do to your car (at least the SVT)...It should seriously be an option when you buy the car...That's how good it is...I think you should be able to fully utilize all those bolt ons that you have right now..

The Tune also will grow with you as you mod your car. Plus it never hurts to diagnose your codes when you get them.

I say "YAY" to getting a tune.

Oh and yes ... you do get a different feeling when driving (idles better, smooth revs)

With your mods a tune is absolutely worth it. Most tuners will net a few peak HP but more importantly a huge jump in torque in the low to mid range. Plus it will get rid of a lot of the quirks with the factory tune.

I thought you charged $450 to $500 for a tune....including the predator, I know the predator alone is around $375??

Plus i'm probably finished with mod's.......it's my daily and i need it to last.

Don't worry about the engine, they are stout and will handle a lot of abuse. A proper tune is key though.

Toms tune is only $395.00 shipped. When I first got the tune, all I had while driving it the first time was smiles. It takes off in first so much smoother and easier. Everything feels a little smoother and it really made the car drive like it should.

Tom's tune is the best. It is definitely worth it. Probably one of the best mods you can do. Plus, the Predator will act as a code reader and data logger. Tom will help you with this. So you get a new tool and more power. You can't beat that with a stick! LOL!
