Okay I heard of someone whos name is Tom and has a shop in NC? if so can someone let me know his ID name on here.. and if anyone else can help me out with my tuning question.

I have a 2003 zx3 and I my plans are wanting to install ; Cold air intake, Throttle Body, Header, 2.5 flex-out exhaust, performance mounts, centerforce clutch, Light weight flywheel, Under Drive Pulleys.. within the next 6 monhts and later on Cams and head work. for a quick N/A focus. well my question is.. when should I tune the car? and who should I go to have tune it? and much of a power gain do you think i'll see with all the mods w/ a tune and after cams?

Get tom to do it, he does free updates as long as you stay na. The earlier you do it the better b/c then you will be getting the most from your mods.

I have the Stealth CAI v.2 mod and a Ford Racing Exhaust. When ordering the tune, should I put that I have a CAI or a Short Ram. Do you think there would be a difference between the two? I called them up, and some guy started saying how it's a hack job and doesn't approve it. My stealth CAI might seem like a hack job, but my car has felt a lot better than stock from the first time I changed it out. Maybe he was trying to get me to buy the Cool-Flo.

If all you have is CAI and exhaust, I would wait on the tune. Get a headerfirst then get you tune, I'm sure Tom will correct me but I think it would be better for you to do it that way. JMO though.

No thanks, but I don't intend on doing the header. Other than the tune, my next mod would be stage 1 cams. I've gone down that path before and I don't feel like messing with it again.
