Is it possible for FF to put in some rules and guidelines about being a "vulture." I think this the most despicable habit of a forum user to ask someone who just damaged their pride and joy to be selfish enough to try to grab parts at a discount.
I propose that any vulture can be reported and have certain privileges taken away or given a warning.
Of course it is different if the person offers up the fact that they want to part out, but to go ahead and try to get a "deal" off of someone's misfortune is truly disgusting.
To read that when two of the most recognizable cars on this board are being pestered for parts after a traumatic incident is wrong. I myself have been a victim of this in the past, and the feeling is terrible.

I agree I think its terrible thing to see especially considering I've been following both threads to which you are talking about. WTF people they say in the first post I will not be parting it and I WILL be rebuilding it. If they want to part the car out they will tell you or if you want something go to the BST area or WTB and hunt for it there.[smackbum] [hatchet]

i agree too...People asking for parts of your newly wrecked car is like getting kicked in the nuts right after you find out your wife is cheating on you

I don't care. After my accident I've got couple emails. You can always say in the same post that you will not part out the car. Or just say NO...

The thing is that half of the time I have seen that it is going to be parted out posted.

That's like. If everyone was nice then this world would be boring. Just take it or leave it and let it be. That's my .02.

leave the politics out of the fourms....if they dont want that too happen then dont post about it....people are always gonna be looking for the "steal"....its a natural instinct.

I don't see a big deal in it. There are how many members on this site... if someone wrecks their ride and you know you need a certain part... why not be the first in line if that person is going to sell parts.

I guess I assumed everyone on this forum was an adult.
Seriously? You don't have to respond to pm's. You don't have to let parts go at a discount? As for feelings getting hurt. Dunno, maybe shouldn't be posting up about it then. Duh, people are always looking for deal, especially now.
I received some pm's about stuff when I was involved in an accident. Feelings get hurt? Nada. Did I get emotional? Nope.
Also, if it didn't happen to two popular cars on this sight would this thread have been started? I think not using the search button could be a bigger offense than vultering.

Might as well lock this thread. I think it's funny that this was even brought up. Wawa. I feel like some people just look for reasons to post threads sometimes.
