I bought a 01 Focus with the 2.0 DOHC, motor blown, it was 400 bux, and was spotless other than that. Well I found a motor today, for a couple bills, just curious as if I will be needing any special tools, odd size sockets, approx time, this motor I bought today is complete with alt, compressor, and such, however it's from an auto not a manual like I have now. So, will I need a new clutch or no?

If your clutch was good, I wouldn't see the need in a new one. As for special tools, maybe some pry bars thats about it.

if you end up needing a new clutch you might as well get one that is lower end performance rather than OEM. it will be cheaper and better than stock.

MAKE SURE before you put the flywheel on that you put the manual trans engine's crank position sensor mount on the new engine. you can only get to the bolt when the flywheel is off.

and, as always you should use new flywheel bolts.
