I'm quite new to the forum, been lurking a little while.

Anyways, within a few weeks, and if all goes as planned, I shall be the proud new owner of a N20 Saleen Focus.

The dealer I found it at down here is asking a crazy cheap price, but I am unsure of what exactly to look for/ask about when I go in to look at it (new to really modding cars and "really" working on them).

check mileage as one, do a carfax on it, see if its been in any accidents. see if its a salvage title. ask if N20 has been ran through it. see if all the panels colors match, or if they have slightly different tones in them as if they were repainted after an accident. check for scoring in the engine bay, check for parts painted under the undercairage, look at tire wear, you can tell wonders by looking UNDERNEATH the car!!

Aren't carfaxes not all that accurate sometimes though?

if its being sold from a dealer, then they will have it. also, yes, they are not always that accurate, but the dealer will have the record of the car. if its a private sale, then carfax is ur best bet!
