does anyone know the difference between a zx4 and an se?

uh there's none really....a zx4 is basically an SE....but people didn't start calling them a zx4 till 05 and up... they were LX's SE's and ZTS's before 05......with the zx4 they're usually followed by an S, SE, SES or ST to mark what options they have.

from 2000-2004, yes, after that, they ran the duratec. actually, the se and lx could have an SPI too.

yea pretty sure. From 05 and up the 2.0 duratec was the standard engine except for the ST of course which had the 2.3 duratec.

00-04 was offered in 3 engine types.
