I will be changing out my transmission fluid this coming weekend and am buying the things I need to do so.

I was just wondering, what kind of fluid should I got for? What's the best choice for me? Also, how much is needed?

is yours a fives speed? if so then follow this. if not i have no clue.

well i forgot how many quarts you'll need but ull need to get a transmission filter kit, and the process is like changing out ur oil...very simple. even though i was close to doing it on my own, i got mines done for free

youll need somewhere between 5 and 6 quarts

use motorcraft mercon V. motorcraft parts seem to last longer when motorcraft fluids are used...

and get the filter kit at autozone, the one at the dealer is $$$$$
