Ok my dads all stupid and told me the fake bolts behind the american sidemarkers clip out...now I know you have to unscrew them because they don't clip...someone agree with me so I can shove this paper into his face all highlighted cause we faught over it for a while...he's like omg there [:)][:)][:)][:)][:)][:)]*in clips and I'm like no there [:)][:)][:)][:)][:)][:)]*in bolts and u unscrew em with pliers!! Oh yah does anyone know of a better way to get those damn things off without pliers? Thanks

i dunno if they clips or bolts but here's an idea for some tools...go to sears!! get some craftman tools [:)]

they are nuts that "cut" into the posts, try a wrench... and THEN unclip it

Pliers would prob work best on that, being plastic and all.

Just use pliers but they are not bolts

They do unscrew and when you screw them on or push them on, they cut in to the plastic bolts that are part of the side marker lights. Use pliers to take them off. It's pretty simple.

They are basically self threading nuts.

are you talking about the little silver things that look like washers but are kinda star shaped in the center, the sae thing used to hold the rear splash shield in place? if so they're not really nuts, they simply push on retainers. however they are tricky to get off. all you have to do is get 1 side raised and then pop them off. i think best tools would be a flat blade screw driver and a pair of pliers or channel locks.
