Well I ventured to a junk yard today in search of the cargo cover for my hatch and was unsuccessful. I did however find a nice silver bezel to go around my radio instead of the black one I have now. Anyway I was hoping I would find more goodies bu the cars were really picked over. Well that was my excitement for the day.

Yeah that sucks you can't even find any. I'm gonna go scrounge at some other ones around me and see if I can find what I want. Ford wants 120$ for the cover and I say screw that.

I was talking to a friend of mine who works at the local salvage yard and he said all the late model cars in the New England area end up out in western Mass. I guess there are some huge salvage yards out that way.

Ha! Ford was gonna charge me $80+ for one when someone broke into my car and pried up the radio bezel. I just went and got one on ebay for $20 shipped.

If you can't get it on e-pay, and all the cars are picked clean at your local self-pick boneyard, you might want to look up a regular auto dismantler who specializes in Ford products. This is the kind where you go to their front counter, tell them what you need, and they pull it themselves from a car or off the shelf. Whatever you need, it's more apt to be there. Shouldn't be more than 50% of new retail.

I went to ford to buy one for my hatchback too. THey said $180, I laughed, then I realized they were serious, then I laughed harder. Went down to the nearest junkyard and bought 2 for less than the price of 1 from ford.

I wonder why it seems all the Foci at my local Pick-n-Pull are front end hits. Can't find any front bumpers/fogs when they're smashed (not for me).

Well I may have to take up captin moonnpie's offer but I may have found one. I bought a radio bezel yesterday for 10$ with all the stuff except hvac and radio I was like ok why not.

I need to find a local you-pick & pay, or just good old salvage yard.
