i recently put on some 215-45-17 wheels
on my stock suspension car
and im gettin rubbin in the canyon
anyone know about this??
will it fix with aftermarket suspension
or will it get worse
if i had stiffer springs i think it wouldnt rubb

i would guess that the offset of the wheels you are using is probably 40mm (or smaller)
it would get worse if u lowered. Try to find the scuff marks on your fenders or fender liner as to where u are rubbing, soimetimes it can be bent out of the way.
i usually recomend a minimum of 42 mm offset and preferably 45 - 50 mm to reduce rubbing

I agree it sounds like the ofset is wrong and again as stated lowering will make it worse. I had 17" on my old LX dropped on coilovers with no scrubbing.
Moved to Suspension forum.
