alright, im planning to install those gauges in the nearest future, so im trying get everything ready for an install and wondering what should i get and prices?
saw some oil plates but there around $40+shipping, or should i just get a 'T', ive heard that you can get it from home depot but i had no luck, + if i find any what are they should be made of? rubber? some kinda metal?

i just picked up the parts for a T at canadia tire in the plumbing section. they are steel

Those "Ts" are made of brass.....but they break. I broke one and lost most of my oil in a few minutes.
If I were doing this to my Focus, I'd use an adapter plate like this (http://prosportgauges.com/oil-filter-adaptor-plate.aspx). Much easier to install...and shouldn't break.

with the adapter, does it still use the stock filter?

How is the zetec filter placed? I know on the duratec it's pretty low, your filter will sit probably about 1-2" lower with the sandwich plate. Just keep that in mind.

lol then what is the best thing to connect oil pressure and oil temp? but i think it should be alright with zetec
