On my '09 SES coupe, I am considering the complete FRPP kit from Mike at Hillbish Ford and my question is: Do you guys think that I should stay with 17" wheels or go for 18" wheels. Would there be a rubbing issue with the 18's using the FRPP kit? Tire size: I'm thinking 35 series with the 18's. What are your recommendations? Thanks. Cliff

i would recommend running 17's it will give you a nice look and you wont have to worry about every bump you go over, rubbing should be minimal with a 215/40 or 45 size tire in the 17's

you can run 18's as well and should be fine with a 35 series, but its a really slim tire of course and wont offer much protection to your rims.

and this should be the same on the new foci as the old, you gonna want at least a +42mm offset +49 would be better as thats what the stock svt rims are

Thanks, 17's it is...the drop is 1.5"
Stock tires on the '09 coupes are the same as the SVT = 215/45/17

17's usually have less rotating mass which is good and have some aesthetic value. Lighter 16's would even be better but that's a different discussion.

The FR drop looks great with 17's and 215/45/r17
