I've wanted one of these for my fire alarm business. I saw one with a manufacturer tag cruising on the way home from work. It didn't look like a diesel though [:(] I wanted my wife to take a pic with another vehicle to size it up, but it's about the same size (slightly taller) than a Trailblazer.

yes, they will be coming next summer. I sat in one at the Chicago auto show last year, even though I have no need for one, I still want one !

The proportions are a little dorky, it looks like a Dodge/Freightliner/Mercedes Sprinter and a Ford Fiesta mated. I checked out the capacity specs a long time ago and IIRC it actually would hold LESS than the Grand Caravan C/V we use now at my company, but it does have the "tall" advantage in terms of adding shelving or bins.

No, 40E towards the 40-240 junction. I followed it from downtown to the Summer Ave exit where they got off.

Azdamay: Yeah, those new Caravans are huge. For a fire, security, CCTV, and access control contractor- we don't need much space very often. I'd only get one if they were diesels though. I'm not a fan of loading up gasoline engines. Cargo/ work vehicles are completely worthless without diesel power IMO. I mean, why would you want a small 4 cyl hauler that got the same fuel economy or fuel cost as a larger Sprinter?

In the case of my company, they deliberately chose smaller vehicles on the theory that they would be easier to maneuver and park in the metropolitan areas that we service. So that's why we drive Caravans even though they probably do cost as much to operate as a larger vehicle. I've seen the Sprinter vans that Maytag was starting to use before they were assimilated by The Borg (aka Whirlpool) and I would hate to be the guy trying to parallel park that in San Francisco.
