HIDs come with everything you need the bulb and th ballast and then plug and play very very VERY easy to install word of wisdom what ever you do do NOT touch the bulb with your fingers EVER if you do good buy lightbulb

wrong. 12k hid's are some of the darkest you can buy. 8k are very blue, 10k are deep blue, and 12k are dark blue/purple. for the best/brightest light output stay around 6000k

^^Dead on, there, monkey.

Generally speaking, You'll wanna leave Your highs as a halogen because the reflector lens throws HID light all over, whereas the projector does exactly what the name says, it projects the light into a fairly concentrated beam. People who have HIDs in reflector lenses are doing nothing but blinding oncoming traffic. But yeah, 4300k-6000k is about as white as You'll get (4300k being the standard OE color for most newer cars w/ HIDs stock)and the aftermarket HIDs are simple PnP, just order the corresponding bulb to fit the projectors You have, as sizes change with brand names.

well said jmiller, i CANT STAND ppl that through HIDs in reflector lenses. makes me wanna swirve in there lane make them stop so i can get out and pull the driver out and make him stare in his own lights liek you shove a dogs nose in its poop and say "BAD"

NE is is for you thats all you have to do to connect HID's

yeah, i looked at that....did u fix ur issue with the lights not coming on, etc?

drunkinmonkey
09-29-2008, 02:59 PM
sumwhat i gotta turn it on too acc. first then start the car only reason they dont come on is because of the DRL come on at a lower voltage so thats why only one comes only enough power to power one up ....thats what i was told by sumone who install them anyways oh well

um, gonzo, isnt that exactly what he said? he said that the 6ks are the brightest, and then you get into colors....which could be darker....

maybe if you would re-read what he said then re-read what i said and look at the chart i posted you would realize that there are no such thing as 30,000 kelvin hid's and as i said 12,000 kelvin are some of the darkest you can buy. thank you.

Are there high output bulbs for the stock headlights? And, also the driving lights, are there high output blubs?

gonzorelic
09-29-2008, 08:45 PM
you can put hid's in the stock housings but i reccommend not doing so. it causes serious hotspots and blinds oncoming drivers when put in reflective housings.

oh, u were talkin about the 30k thing. i DID reread, and it still seems to me like u were saying he was wrong about the 6k thing tho. so thats what i was talking about [wiggle]
