so my car is in the shop getting a new pressure sensor for the gas tank, so for the day i dont have my car they finally gave me a rental. I got a 2008 focus SES in silver. its a pzev model and my first driving impressions werent too bad other than SLOWW. i mean my car isnt fast but when you get that thing screaming at 5k on the highway and literally doesnt gain a single mph then there is a problem haha. most of it is because its an automatic but still it made my car seem like a rocket. However, the overall fit and finish of the car is a HUGE improvement over the older models. The interior is actually fantastic and i actually like the guages. the seats are also a hundred times better. (wonder if they are a direct bolt on?) [idea] Steering also seems to be a lot better. that thing handles awesome! must be the rear stabilizer bar found on the SES models that im not used to. Oh and yea it has sync. and honestly, i would never use it. ever. it is nice it was the usb and aux input, and i would use that part, but not the voice command, its more of a pain than anything. Anyways my overall impressions of the car weren't bad other than the no acceleration and i would rather my car any day for that reason, but that interior is fantastic! i would actually consider upgrading if they offered a more performance oriented one.
