Well, I still have some wait time on my concept carbon fiber hood, 4-6 weeks-suck! [bigcry] Anyway, I'm thinking about getting either a CAI or lowinger springs (since I already have SVT shocks stock). I have a stock ZX4 ST right now and I just want to do some work on it.

This is what it looks like right now:

I've got two options for the lowering springs Koni (1.3” drop) and Progressive (1.8” drop).

Bump going to buy somenting today so I need some thoughts!
I don't think I need a full kit since the ST comes with 04 SVT shocks...tell me if I'm wrong.

Well SVT shocks are made to handle a .75" drop. It would probably be best to get a kit that works together. The SVT shocks will probably wear out fairly fast with a lower drop. Check out the FRPP kit or the Eibach pro kit.

the frpp kit from mike is 360... comes with everything and he assembles the struts/springs for you. 1.5 inch drop

CAI, IMHO, drops are overrated.

^ I think thats what I'm going to do. I promised my wife I wouldn't buy wheels until my tires needed to be replaced, bad idea, I think these are 60,000...lol

Yeah, CAI will do more for You than a drop, but do the drop as soon as You can convince "Her" that it "needs to be done". IMHO your current suspension will be more than enough to handle what is really a nominal HP jump.

Yeah, the springs would be more for aesthetics than anything else.

IMHO I'd go with the CAI. Getting air in and out faster is always a good place to start. We have the 2.25 exhaust stock i believe. So just pull off that restrictive air box. Plus the sound is great.
